I bought this skirt for my Granddaughter's Steampunk Wedding. From the moment I took it from the box I felt like I stepped back into the day when garment sewing was a very serious matter. This skirt is PUT TOGETHER! I need a Petite length, and this skirt goes to the floor in front, and has just a bit of a train in back, which I intend to play up with a great petticoat. If I could offer one suggestion; find a way to make the waists adjustable by as much as 2". Its easy to do and better for the millions of us who don't have wide hips, but do have a wide waist with no hips to speak of.
