Western reenactment, fit well, wife loves it

This says it is royal blue, but it is actually a floral print design. Other than that it is a nice outfit. It doesn't match the shiny vest I bought my husband to wear. I am not sure if I got the wrong dress or if this is supposed to be floral print. I was thinking it was blue satin but it is not.

Ordered this dress because I would not have had time to make it myself. Was very pleased with the quality & workmanship! The fabric has a really nice feel to it, is a good weight, & the structure of the dress is very detailed & finished off very well. The color & print is beautiful & there is a lot of fabric in the skirt! I will wear it with a hoop slip underneath! Can't wait to wear it for our upcoming party!

I love this dress. It's perfect for the Victorian events I want to wear it to. It's in 2 pieces; so as I lose weight I can simply fold and sew the waist line and it's hidden under the top. I can also add a few chains and swap out my hat, shoes and bag and I have a Victorian Steampunk outfit. It's absolutely perfect for all the events I have planned for the next year.

I had my eye on this dress for sometime as I attend the Dickens Fair in San Francisco every year. Being in between sizes in the hips I was hesitant to get a size medium for fear of it being too tight or for that matter a large size and it would be too big. The representatives assured me that the larger size would work, and taking into consideration the hoop skit to be worn underneath they were right and as a result , the entire dress fit like a glove. The material is gorgeous and everything from the buttons, the sleeves, the lace and pleats below are extremely well made. Tis true as one other reviewer wrote that if the skirt portion is too long, then simple roll up the waist a bit and voilà! It takes some practice to get used to walking in a hoop skirt but overall the effect is stunning and one feels as if they have gone back in time.

I ordered this suit for a murder mystery dinner fundraiser that was set in Old West days. I won the best dressed award! It is a pretty suit. However, the sizing is really off so bear that in mind when ordering. I had read another review that the skirts run small so I ordered a size larger than I normally wear so the skirt would fit (it did) but then the top was way too big! So, skirt ran small, top ran way big. It would be nice if you could order the pieces indidually so that both would fit correctly.

Very nice material and beautiful pattern. I'm 5'4" and 148 lbs and it fit beautifully. The length of the skirt will adjusted but is simply a matter of rolling up the waistband without need for any tailoring. This looks wonderful and will be fun to accessorize for our Old West parties and reenactments.

This outfit is the hit of our play. It is beautifully constructed. The material is high quality. It is just beautiful. Because it is all cotton, I would recommend ordering the next size larger if planning to wash and dry yourself.

I was invited to a party with an 'Old West" Theme. The site of the party was in a historic home with its own saloon. My dress was era perfect and a hit with all the guests. I loved the fit and quality of the dress. Found it to be very comfortable and flattering. Thanks for helping to me to 'fit' in and stand out!

The outfit was great. It was easy to wear and I got a lot of comments when I wore it to our World War I commemoration.

Well even though I measured it is too big, I had hoped to move the buttons but a sewing friend says no. I had to leave town the day after recieivng it so haven't returned it yet since the event it is needed for isn't till August should be okay only need the next size down. Having said that the dress is well made, all you tall people don't worry I am 5' 7" and it is way too long but since it has an elastic waist can pull it up so no problem. Very gererous in the bust which is where my problem is that I need another smaller size. Alsa since haven't been able to actually wear it can't say more

Great quality and they got here to PA really quickly. My wife is pretty discerning when it comes to her costumes and she was really pleased. She is 5'1" and the two piece design worked well, no need for alterations.

It fits perfectly! A little long but by turning the waist band once, I didn't even need to shorten it. Better quality than I was expecting.
