This well tailored sailor suit was the height of beach fashion in the 1890’s and early 1900’s and would even pass the Beach Patrol’s whose job was to ensure that ladies’ skirts were not too short.

For modesty and authenticity, pair with our pantaloons and mobcap. Our version features the most popular naval middy collar with a v-neck front and large square flap across the back, which has contrasting black trim. Authentic details include an attached contrasting bow tie, cap sleeves, and contrasting trim at the sleeves and ruffled skirt bottom. Skirt measures approximately 26 inches in length from set in waist.
